Our signature fabrics are artisan made in small batches by artisans who have been perfecting their craft for generations. We’ve been working with our artisans for over five years now and consider them part of our family.
We craft our fabrics in the heart of Argentina and Guatemala using only premium, ultra durable cotton thread woven tightly together for maximum durability and ultimate comfort.
Our full-grain vegetable-tanned leather hails from one of the finest tanneries in the world, located in the heart of Europe. With a firm hand that relaxes with age and use, our leather will develop a unique and cherished patina, or gentle shine, that enhances the character of your belt or accessory. During the finishing process, a fine protective film is applied to the surface, which creates a subtle sheen and provides a light water repellency.
All of our woven watches and bands are handcrafted in the United States using our signature artisan made fabrics from Argentina and Guatemala and world class leather. Our partners, who have become like family, are master craftsmen who have been perfecting leather products for over 50 years.

I got this as a gift for Christmas. I absolutely love it, and I get compliments on it daily. The cross band that holds the extra band tail down came apart, I reached out to customer service, who were extremely friendly and fast! Within a week they replaced my original band. Got to love companies that actually stand behind their products!

I love these Apple watch bands. This is my second from La Matera, and I was initially reluctant to order one because these are marketed toward men. As a few others have noted about the other colors/designs, however, there’s a universal sophistication and look to these bands. I don’t feel that they’re particularly gendered, and I’m thrilled with the way they look and hold up. I wanted high quality leather and the colorful woven design is beautifully complementary and doesn’t disappoint at all. They’re not inexpensive bands, but I’m a big believer in that you get what you pay for, and these products live up to that.
As a point of constructive feedback (sorry, I’m a teacher, occupational hazard) - I do wish that there was one more hole on the wrist strap for a more snug fit, but I understand that a product generally made for men accounts for larger wrists! I made do and have no serious complaints.
