Overview: La Matera is seeking a dynamic, highly adaptable individual to join our team as a Community Manager - Marketing and Wholesale (Growth Hacker). In this role, you will be the linchpin of our growth strategies, representing La Matera across various events and functions. This position requires a proactive, energetic professional who is comfortable with frequent travel and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit to increase brand awareness and strengthen community ties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of La Matera at a variety of events including wholesale shows, pop-up/trunk shows, sales exhibitions, tailgates, and more.
- Engage with and expand our community by building strong relationships with customers, brand partners, wholesale accounts, and ambassadors.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to craft and implement campaigns and content that resonate with our ethos of authentic storytelling.
- Spearhead the planning and execution of all of our in-person events ensuring each aligns with our brand’s standards and growth objectives.
- Manage and navigate logistics on the road, including driving and potentially handling a trailer, ensuring seamless execution of travel and event schedules.
- Develop and oversee an Ambassador Program, recruiting and managing new ambassadors to foster wider brand recognition.
- Maintain strict adherence to budgets, effectively managing resources to optimize marketing spend and achieve sales targets.
- Routinely analyze the effectiveness of marketing and community engagement strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, community management, event planning, or a similar role; however, a passion for the brand and the ability to embody our values are paramount.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and fostering relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly and independently.
- Clean driving record and willingness to undergo a background check.
- Comfort with frequent travel (over 50% of the time) and flexibility in scheduling to accommodate weekend and evening events.
- A frugal mindset with a capability to maximize resources and deliver exceptional results on a tight budget.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in budget management and financial accountability.
- Proficiency in navigating vehicles with attached trailers is a plus.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, viewing each challenge as an opportunity for growth and each success as a stepping stone for the next.
